Itel is doing well in the budget segment. This is the reason that the entire focus of the company is the budget smartphone. In such a situation, the company recently launched the entry level smartphone itel Vision 3 Turbo. The company has not done much experiments with the smartphone. By the way, there is no scope for much experimentation in this price point. But itel, understanding the needs of the budget segment, has tried to cover every department in a smartphone. Let us know how was our experience with this smartphone? Will it be a best deal to buy it, so let’s start today’s review
Design
itel Vision 3 Turbo comes in basic design. A plastic frame has been used in the back. on which fingerprints are left behind. But to avoid this, a cover has been given in the phone box. The back of the phone gives a glossy look in the light. The back fingerprint sensor has been unlocked instead of the side in the phone. Also, dual rear camera setup has been given in the back itself.
While power and volume buttons are given in the right, SIM tray in the left and single speaker at the bottom, 3.5mm audio jack and micro USB charging port. Light bezels have been given on the front of the phone. While the thickness of the bezels becomes more in the bottom. The speaker grill is provided with the notch camera cutout of the phone. Itel Vision 3 Turbo is quite good in terms of overall design and build quality.
display
itel Vision 3 Turbo has a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS display. The brightness of the phone’s display is quite good. There is no problem in operating the phone in indoor and outdoor lighting conditions. Also, while watching photos or videos in the phone, very good colors were seen. Apart from this, the contrast ratio was also excellent. Due to which watching videos on the phone is a great pleasure.
The touch response of the itel Vision 3 turbo’s display was smooth while using multiple apps. It is a good display phone for reels, videos, drama watchers.
performance
Itel Vision 3 Turbo is powered by the Octacore UNISOC SC9863A processor. Android 11 based itel v7.6.0 operating system support has been provided in the phone. The phone has 3 GB RAM support. But the phone comes with 6 GB virtual RAM support.
Apart from this, 64 GB enabled storage and 128GB micro SD card support has been provided. Keeping this detail aside, if we talk about the actual inhand feel experience, then itel Vision 3 Turbo offers a good experience. The phone is good for light gaming, using social media apps. During this use, I did not see any special complaint.
The speaker output felt a bit low though, which probably needed to be kept louder. The same fingerprint sensor works well during locking and unlocking the phone.
camera
Dual camera setup has been given in the rear of itel Vision 3 Turbo. Its primary camera is 8MP. Also another secondary AI sensor has been given. The phone has a 5MP selfie camera for selfie and video calls. Also, LED flash light support has been provided for night photo and videography.
battery
Itel Vision 3 Turbo has a 5000mAh battery, which lasts a long time in single charging. It can be used comfortably throughout the day with a single charge. 18W charging support has been provided with the phone, which is good. Most smartphones with this price point come with a 10W charging adapter. The company has done a good job in this regard. Although according to me, the USB Type C charging port should have been given in the phone. With the current charging setup, the phone takes about two-and-a-half to three hours to charge.
Our decision
itel Vision 3 Turbo is a good smartphone. Especially in terms of battery and display, the performance of the phone has been good. If you are shifting from feature phone to smartphone, then this can prove to be a good option. But there are many other options in the market which can also be considered.
