Jaishankar, Philippine FM Discuss Strategic Partnership

External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar met Philippine Foreign Secretary Enrique A. Manalo in Manila for discussions aimed at further strengthening the India–Philippines Strategic Partnership.

The two leaders held wide-ranging talks focusing on expanding cooperation in trade and investment, education, defence and security, maritime cooperation, capacity building, and development cooperation. The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of both countries to deepen bilateral engagement across key strategic and economic sectors.

They also exchanged views on recent developments in the Indo-Pacific, highlighting the importance of a stable, secure and rules-based regional order.
