Jaishankar Meets Qatar PM to Boost Bilateral Ties

India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar held high-level talks with Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani in Doha, reaffirming the strong and expanding strategic partnership between India and Qatar.

Sharing details of the meeting on social media, Jaishankar expressed his pleasure at meeting the Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister. He thanked the Qatari leadership for ensuring the safety and well-being of the Indian community living in the Gulf nation.

The two leaders reviewed key areas of bilateral cooperation, including energy security, trade, investments, connectivity, security, and people-to-people ties. They also explored new opportunities to further deepen the India-Qatar Strategic Partnership.

During the discussions, the Qatari Prime Minister shared his assessment of the ongoing developments in West Asia and their broader regional impact. Jaishankar appreciated the exchange of views, highlighting the importance of continued dialogue on regional security and stability.
The meeting underscores the growing momentum in India-Qatar relations, with both countries seeking to strengthen cooperation across economic, strategic, and geopolitical fronts.
