Football legend Luis Figo has publicly called for FIFA President Gianni Infantino to step down, accusing him of undermining the integrity of world football.
In a strongly worded statement shared on social media, the former Portugal captain said he was joining others from across the football community in urging Gianni Infantino to resign as FIFA President.
Figo alleged that Infantino had "debased the office that he promised to elevate" and accused him of lying, deceiving, and putting personal interests ahead of the sport.
