M. K. Stalin, Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and president of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, has released a video statement on social media addressing comparisons made during the 2021 Assembly elections.
In the video, Stalin recalled that some critics had described him as “more dangerous” than his father and former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi. Responding to the comparison, Stalin said he does not see himself as comparable to Karunanidhi, whom he has always regarded not just as a father but as his leader.

He added that if being called “dangerous” means standing firmly against those who attempt to betray Tamil Nadu or obstruct its development, he would accept the label with pride. Stalin emphasized that such determination is rooted in the spirit of the Tamil people.
The remarks come as Stalin continues to position his leadership around regional pride, governance, and safeguarding the state’s interests.
