Modi Hails Skyroot's Historic Vikram-1 Mission

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has hailed the launch of Vikram-1, India's first privately developed orbital launch vehicle, as a historic milestone in the nation's space journey.

Sharing his message on social media ahead of the mission, the Prime Minister praised Skyroot Aerospace for leading a new era of innovation and private participation in India's space sector.

The maiden orbital launch of Vikram-1 is scheduled to take place at 11:30 AM today. Developed by Skyroot Aerospace, the four-stage launch vehicle is designed to offer rapid, reliable, and on-demand satellite launch services, marking a significant step forward for India's commercial space ambitions.

Prime Minister Modi said the mission reflects the talent, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit of India's youth.
