Bollywood’s popular singer Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK, passed away after suffering a massive heart attack. He was performing at an event in Kolkata, during which he suffered the stroke. He was immediately rushed to Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI), where he was declared dead. He was 53.Reportedly, the singer was brought there. He was performing at Nazrul Mancha, an auditorium in South Kolkata, where he had fallen ill, and collapsed.

KK was one of the most versatile singers of the Indian music industry. He has recorded songs in several languages including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Bengali among others. He is now survived by his wife and children.
