Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulates India's Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026 contingent on winning 39 medals.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated the Indian contingent for their impressive performance at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026, where the country secured 39 medals, including 13 gold medals.

Sharing his message on social media, the Prime Minister praised the athletes for their exceptional performances and unwavering commitment throughout the Games.
"Proud of our contingent's performance at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games. Delighted that India has won 39 medals, including 13 Golds. Congrats to the medal winners," PM Modi wrote.

He lauded the determination, skill and dedication displayed by Indian athletes across various sporting disciplines, saying their achievements would inspire the next generation of sportspersons.

India finished the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026 campaign with 39 medals, including 13 gold, 17 silver and 9 bronze, ending the event on a high with several memorable performances across multiple disciplines.
