PM Narendra Modi Extends Eid Greetings, Holds Strategic Talks with Kuwait

India has reiterated its strong support for Kuwait’s sovereignty and territorial integrity following a high-level conversation between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and HH Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait, during which PM Modi also conveyed greetings on the upcoming festival of Eid. During the interaction, the two leaders exchanged views on the evolving geopolitical situation in West Asia, expressing shared concerns over recent developments impacting regional stability. Prime Minister Modi conveyed India’s firm condemnation of any attacks undermining Kuwait’s sovereignty. A key focus of the discussion was the security of maritime routes, particularly the strategic Strait of Hormuz. India emphasized that ensuring safe and uninterrupted navigation through the vital corridor remains a top priority, given its critical role in global energy and trade flows.
