Preity Zinta Reveals First Look at Hamida Ahead of Batwara 1947

Bollywood actor Preity Zinta has shared a glimpse of the moment she first connected with her character Hamida in the upcoming film Batwara 1947, ahead of its theatrical release on August 14.

Taking to social media on the eve of the film’s release, Zinta posted a photograph from the film’s look test, recalling how she first saw and felt a glimpse of Hamida.

Reflecting on the character, the actor shared the famous words attributed to Persian poet Rumi: “If everything around seems dark, look again, you may be the light.”

Zinta’s post offers fans a personal insight into her preparation for the role and her emotional connection with Hamida.
