Jaishankar Meets Liberia Foreign Minister, Discusses Key Areas
External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar met Liberia’s Foreign Minister Sara Beysolow Nyanti in New Delhi and congratulated her on the inauguration of Liberia’s new Embassy in the Indian capital.

During the meeting, the two leaders held productive discussions on several areas of mutual interest, including the safety and security of commercial shipping, mining, health, agriculture, water and training.
Jaishankar said the discussions also focused on the need for reforms of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). He expressed confidence that India-Liberia cooperation under the broader framework of South-South cooperation would continue to strengthen.
The meeting highlights India’s continued engagement with Liberia on development, economic cooperation, maritime security and multilateral issues.
