Priyanka Calls Pradhan's Exit a Democratic Triumph

Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra welcomed the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, describing it as a "victory for the youth of India" and a triumph of democracy.

Speaking to reporters, Priyanka Gandhi said she was "very, very happy" with the development, adding that it marked the beginning of people reclaiming the country from those who, according to her, had attempted to undermine the Constitution and suppress public voices.

She praised students and young protesters for their determination and commitment to non-violent demonstrations, saying they followed the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi despite facing hardships.

According to Priyanka Gandhi, the protesters endured pellet firing, tear gas, lathi charges, and injuries but remained steadfast in their movement. She said the government's decision reflected the strength of public opinion in a democracy.

Calling it a lesson for every government, she asserted that the will of the people is supreme in a democratic nation and cannot be overridden by any individual or authority.

Priyanka Gandhi concluded by congratulating the students and youth, saying their peaceful struggle had demonstrated the power of democratic participation and people's collective voice.
