Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition, launched a sharp attack on both the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) while addressing a massive public rally in Malda.
Speaking to the crowd, Gandhi claimed that the people of West Bengal are “fed up” with both ruling parties at the Centre and in the state.
He alleged that corruption is deeply entrenched in both camps, directly targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the TMC leadership.
“The people of West Bengal are ready to teach both BJP and TMC a lesson through the power of their vote,” Gandhi said, describing the upcoming elections as a decisive moment for the state.
Framing the electoral battle as a fight against corruption and misgovernance, the Congress leader urged voters to bring about change through democratic means. His remarks come as political campaigning intensifies in West Bengal, with parties sharpening their narratives ahead of crucial elections.
