South African skipper Faf Du Plessis retires from test cricket. He announced his retirement from test format on Wednesday through a social networking site. He had been in form since the start of cricket post Covid19 situation.
This decision comes after Du Plessis decided to give more attention to shorter format cricket. He is interested to play more T20 cricket with two T20 world cup coming in next two years. He feels that he can be his team’s best player in the shortest format of the cricket. He played 99 test for his country scoring 4163 runs.
