Suvendu Adhikari Outlines Administrative Outreach Plan Across Bengal, Emphasises ‘Rule of Law’
West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari addressed a press conference and detailed a series of regional coordination meetings being conducted across West Bengal to strengthen communication between elected representatives and administrative structures.
Adhikari said that an earlier meeting had been held in Durgapur covering Bankura, East Bardhaman, and West Bardhaman districts, while the latest meeting focused on Nadia, North 24 Parganas, and Hooghly. He added that upcoming meetings are planned in Malda, covering Murshidabad, Uttar Dinajpur, and Dakshin Dinajpur, along with another session in Kolaghat for East Medinipur, West Medinipur, Jhargram, and Howrah.
According to Adhikari, the primary objective of these outreach initiatives is to establish stronger short-term coordination between elected MLAs and the administration. He also spoke about governance priorities and the importance of ensuring that policy vision and manifesto commitments are communicated effectively at all administrative levels.
Highlighting governance principles, Adhikari said that the focus should be on “rule of law” rather than “rule of the ruler.” He further stressed that governance objectives and policy direction should reach every tier of administration through structured interactions and outreach efforts.
