A protest meeting led by BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari was held at Nandigram’s Sonachura on Friday against the attack on the Suvendu followers at Bhutar More while they were on their way to attend Suvendu’s Nandigram religious meeting on Tuesday.
Around 135 persons were injured in the attack and two buses were damaged. BJP supporters also gheraoed the Nandigram police station to protest against the attack. On next day Suvendu Adhikari also visited the hospitals including Nandigram hospital and Tamluk district hospital where the injured persons were admitted. Besides the BJP supporters also put up a road block at Sonachura. On Friday Suvendu Adhikari attended the protest rally and slammed the attack on their Supporters allegedly carried out by the Trinamool backed goons.
