Trump Claims Iran “Eager for Deal” After Military Setback, Says Nuclear Capability ‘Obliterated’
US President Donald Trump has made strong remarks regarding the current situation with Iran, asserting that the country is “eager to make a deal” following what he described as a decisive military operation. Speaking on the matter, Trump emphasized that he does not consider the situation a full-scale war but rather a targeted military action that has significantly weakened Iran’s defense infrastructure. “Despite a military operation, I don’t call it a war… Iran is dying to make a deal,” Trump said. He further claimed that Iran’s naval and air capabilities have been severely diminished. “Their Navy is gone, their Air Force is gone, and practically every ounce of their equipment is gone,” he added. Trump also highlighted the impact on Iran’s drone production, stating that its drone factories are “about 82% down,” signaling a major blow to its military manufacturing capabilities. On the nuclear front, the US President made one of his strongest assertions yet: “We obliterated that nuclear capacity of theirs. And so they didn’t get the nuclear bomb." The remarks come amid heightened global attention on Middle East tensions, with ongoing concerns over nuclear proliferation and regional stability. While there has been no immediate response from Iranian authorities, Trump’s statements suggest a potential diplomatic opening if negotiations materialize.
