Candidates can check names and roll numbers on the official website
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the UPSC Engineering Services Examination (ESE) Prelims Result 2026 on its website, upsc.gov.in. Candidates who appeared for the preliminary exam held on February 8, 2026, can now check their results online.

To access the result, candidates need to visit the official UPSC website, click on the “UPSC ESE Prelims Result 2026” link available on the homepage, and open the PDF file containing the list of qualified candidates. They are advised to download and keep a printout of the result for future reference.
Candidates who have successfully cleared the preliminary examination are now eligible to appear for the ESE Main Examination, which is scheduled to be held on June 21, 2026. The Commission will release the e-admit cards for the mains exam approximately one week before the examination date on its official website.
UPSC has also informed that the marks and cut-off scores for the preliminary examination will be published only after the entire recruitment process is completed, including the Personality Test and final result declaration.
