Rahul Gandhi Says INDIA Bloc Will Defend Constitution Through Love, Not Hatred
Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Sunday reiterated his commitment to non-violence, love and constitutional values while addressing the INDIA bloc mega rally at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi.
Emphasising that he does not consider Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah or Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar his enemies, Rahul Gandhi said that his political approach is rooted in love rather than hatred.
“We are people who open the shop of love, not hatred. We are people of non-violence. For me, there is no enemy. Neither Narendra Modi, nor Amit Shah, nor Gyanesh Kumar,” he said.
Rahul Gandhi further asserted that the voice of every Indian citizen is more important to him than religion, describing the protection of citizens' voices as his own religion.
He also maintained that the INDIA bloc would not resort to violence or spread hatred but would continue its efforts through love and non-violence.
However, drawing a firm line on constitutional protection, the Congress leader declared that the opposition would not allow anyone to destroy the Constitution, regardless of the circumstances.
His remarks highlighted the INDIA bloc's political messaging around constitutional values, democratic rights and non-violence during the rally in the national capital.
