Yogi Adityanath Accuses Samajwadi Party of Disrupting UP Assembly and Disrespecting the Speaker
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath criticized the Samajwadi Party over the disruption in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, accusing the Opposition of disregarding Assembly rules and disrespecting the Speaker.
Addressing media, Yogi Adityanath said that under Rule 59 of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, matters that are sub judice cannot be discussed. He stated that despite the Ram Janmabhoomi issue being pending before the courts at the time, the Samajwadi Party attempted to question the judicial process.
The Chief Minister further said the government was prepared for a discussion, but the Opposition instead resorted to waving placards and disrupting the proceedings, which he described as disrespectful to the Speaker and the democratic functioning of the Assembly.
