Chakda Xpress is set to be the biopic of the former captain of the Indian national women’s cricket team Jhulan Goswami. Anushka Sharma is finally returning to the silver screen after four long years and we cannot keep calm. The actress shared the first look teaser of the film on Thursday.

Chakda Xpress is being directed by Prosit Roy, who previously helmed Anushka Sharma’s ‘Pari’. The film has been written by Abhishek Bannerjee and Clean Slate Filmz is producing the movie.

Chakda Xpress is Anushka Sharma’s first film after the birth of her daughter Vamika, who she welcomed in 2021 with husband Virat Kohli. The actress was last seen in 2018 movie ‘Zero’ with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
