The first day of Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra is in Rajasthan. The journey started from Kali Talai in Jhalawar at around 6.11 am on Monday morning. The first phase of the yatra was completed with a journey of about 14 kilometers from Kali Talai to Bali Borda. At present the break is going on, the second phase of the day will start at 3.30 pm.
In the morning session of Bharat Jodo Yatra, Congress MLA from Adarsh Nagar, Jaipur, Rafiq Khan was reprimanded by Rahul Gandhi. Food and Civil Supplies Minister Pratap Singh Khachariawas, Minister of State for Home Guards Rajendra Gudha, former Union Minister Bhanwar Jitendra, Osian MLA Divya Maderna also joined the yatra early in the morning. Earlier on Sunday night, Bharat Jodo Yatra was entered in Rajasthan from Jhalawar area of former CM Vasundhara Raje.
The journey started from Jhalrapatan at around 6:11 am. Many ministers and senior Congress leaders including CM Gehlot, former CM Sachin Pilot walked on the foot of Rahul Gandhi. The first phase was completed after a journey of about 14 kms. The second phase will start after the lunch break.
Jairam Ramesh, CM Ashok Gehlot, Govind Singh Dotasara and Rajasthan in-charge of Yatra Diwakar Shastri will hold a press conference around 11 am. Senior Congress leader Raghuveer Meena injured after falling during Bharat Jodo Yatra. Raghuveer Meena has been taken by ambulance to Jhalawar Hospital. In the second phase, the yatra will reach Chandrabhaga square of Jhalrapatan at 6:30 pm. Rahul Gandhi will address street corner meetings every day of the yatra. At 6:30 pm, Rahul Gandhi will address the Nukkad Sabha at Chandrabhaga Square in Jhalrapatan.
Rahul Gandhi will interact with selected farmers and social workers today during the yatra. They will be interacted with as usual during the journey itself. Rahul Gandhi will cover a distance of 34 kilometers on the first day of the yatra in Rajasthan. So far, on an average, 24 kilometers are covered daily in the Bharat Jodo Yatra, but now the speed is being increased in Rajasthan. All the camps of Congress were seen together in the yatra. Supporters of both Gehlot-Pilot are participating in the yatra.
