India's External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar met Bulgarian President Rumen Radev during his visit to Bulgaria, reaffirming the strong and growing partnership between the two nations.

Sharing details of the meeting on social media, Dr. Jaishankar conveyed the greetings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the Government and people of Bulgaria. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral ties and exploring new opportunities emerging from the enhanced Strategic Partnership between India and Bulgaria.

The External Affairs Minister highlighted the importance of deeper cooperation between the two countries in an increasingly volatile global environment, emphasizing the need to de-risk and diversify economic and strategic partnerships.

Both leaders discussed expanding collaboration across a wide range of sectors, including trade and investment, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, artificial intelligence, space technology, defence cooperation, mobility, tourism, and the creative entertainment industry.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on key regional and global developments, underscoring the shared commitment of India and Bulgaria to enhancing cooperation on matters of mutual interest.
