During this, 20 programs will be involved. Narendra Modi will have bilateral meetings with several world leaders. Along with this, he will also interact with the overseas Indian living in Indonesia in a community program.
Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra has informed that the Prime Minister will participate in three key sessions of the G20 (Food and Energy Security, Digital Transformation and Health). During this, many issues including the state of the global economy, energy, environment, agriculture, health and issues related to digital transformation will be discussed. Other world leaders will also attend these sessions.
PM Modi will present India’s perspective on economic recovery after the corona pandemic and addressing major global challenges in the areas of energy and food security at the G20 summit. Other world leaders including Chinese President Xi Jinping, US President Joe Biden, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and French President Emmanuel Macron will also attend the conference.
PM to hold bilateral meetings with 10 leaders
On the sidelines of the G20 summit, PM Modi can hold bilateral meetings with the heads of state of 10 countries. The Foreign Secretary said that the bilateral meetings of PM Modi are still in the process of being scheduled. Significantly, India is going to be the next president of the G20. India will be the chairman of G20 for one year. Indonesia will hand over the chairmanship of the G20 to India at the closing ceremony of the summit.
