Giriraj Singh Inaugurates Bharat Tex 2026 in Delhi
Union Minister Giriraj Singh inaugurated Bharat Tex 2026, India's largest global textile event, marking the beginning of one of the world's biggest gatherings for the textile and apparel industry.
The four-day event has attracted more than 6,000 buyers from over 130 countries and is expected to welcome over 1.3 lakh trade visitors, highlighting India's growing role as a global textile manufacturing and sourcing hub.
Bharat Tex 2026 will also serve as a major knowledge-sharing platform, featuring over 100 knowledge sessions, including 39 panel discussions, 16 roundtables, 37 masterclasses, and 8 state sessions. More than 50 knowledge partners are participating, covering key themes such as innovation, sustainability, technology, trade, investment, and the future of the textile industry.
The event aims to strengthen international business partnerships, showcase India's textile capabilities, and support the government's vision of expanding the country's global footprint in textiles and apparel.
