India Free Trade Agreements Open New Career Opportunities for Youth, Says PM Modi

India Free Trade Agreements are opening new doors of career opportunities for the country’s youth, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday while addressing the 20th Rozgar Mela virtually. He highlighted the growing global demand for India’s talent, skills, entrepreneurs and young workforce, saying the country’s trade partnerships are creating new possibilities for employment and business.

Addressing newly appointed government employees, PM Modi said India has signed 40 Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) with various countries. According to the Prime Minister, these agreements are helping Indian entrepreneurs access new markets while creating fresh opportunities for the country’s young population.

India Free Trade Agreements Creating New Opportunities

PM Modi said the India Free Trade Agreements are not limited to trade and business but are also creating opportunities for the youth to build careers in emerging markets.

“India signed 40 Free Trade Agreements. These FTAs are opening new doors of possibilities for our youth,” the Prime Minister said during the virtual Rozgar Mela.

He added that such agreements create new partnerships for entrepreneurs, provide access to international markets and generate new career possibilities for young Indians.

The Prime Minister's remarks come at a time when India is seeking to strengthen its economic partnerships with countries and expand opportunities for Indian businesses in global markets.

More Than 51,000 Appointment Letters Distributed

During the Rozgar Mela, PM Modi virtually distributed more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly selected candidates. The recruits will join various government departments and organisations across the country.
