Ishan Kishan celebrates after scoring 81 runs during India's 90-run win over Zimbabwe in the second T20I at Harare Sports Club.

India sealed the three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe 2-0 with a comprehensive 90-run victory in the second T20I at the Harare Sports Club. The triumph also marked the first bilateral T20I series win for Team India under captain Shreyas Iyer.

Asked to bat first, India produced a batting masterclass, posting a formidable 219/5 in their allotted 20 overs. Left-handed opener Ishan Kishan stole the show with a blistering 81 off 44 balls, smashing the Zimbabwe bowlers all around the park. He received excellent support from Tilak Varma, who remained unbeaten on 60 from just 29 deliveries, ensuring India crossed the 200-run mark comfortably.

Zimbabwe began their chase aggressively, with Brian Bennett racing to 32 off 19 balls. However, India's bowlers quickly wrestled back control, triggering a dramatic collapse. The hosts were eventually bowled out for 129 in 17.5 overs, handing India a convincing victory.

Abhishek Sharma was the standout performer with the ball, returning figures of 3/17. He was well supported by Yash Thakur (2/30) and debutant Prince Yadav (2/10), who impressed with a disciplined spell on debut.

For his match-winning knock of 81 runs off 44 balls, Ishan Kishan was named the Player of the Match. With one game remaining, India have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe.
