Jay Shah Calls ICC Women’s T20 World Cup a Landmark Moment for Women’s Cricket

ICC Chairman Jay Shah has described the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup as a “landmark moment” for women’s cricket, emphasizing the tournament’s potential to elevate the global profile of the sport and inspire a new generation of fans and players.

Speaking ahead of the tournament, Shah said the event represents one of the most ambitious and exciting editions of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup ever staged. He noted that the build-up to the competition is helping generate unprecedented excitement among cricket fans worldwide.

“This is a landmark moment for women’s cricket and a fitting way to launch what we believe will be the most exciting and ambitious ICC Women’s T20 World Cup ever staged,” Shah said.
