Kerala recorded a voter turnout of 75.01% till 5 PM in the Assembly elections being held for 140 seats. The polling process witnessed steady participation throughout the day, with voters turning out in significant numbers across districts.
Kozhikode district registered the highest turnout at 77.63%, while other regions also reported consistent voter engagement. The polling process remained orderly, with election authorities ensuring proper arrangements at polling booths.
Despite the humid weather conditions in several parts of the state, voter enthusiasm remained strong. The Election Commission ensured smooth conduct with adequate security and logistical support, contributing to a peaceful voting environment.
