West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee has reiterated her deep connection with the people of the state, emphasizing that her political journey has always been rooted in public support and trust.
In a heartfelt message shared on social media, Banerjee reflected on her journey from student politics to serving three terms as Chief Minister, stating that her bond with the people has remained constant throughout.
She described the people of Bengal as her greatest strength, invoking her signature slogan “Maa, Mati, Manush” to highlight her commitment to inclusive governance and grassroots connection.
The Chief Minister also took a strong stance against what she termed “Bangla-Birodhi Zamindars,” asserting that she would not allow any force to bring suffering to the people of the state. She pledged to continue fighting to protect Bengal’s interests, uphold the rights of its citizens, and preserve its secular and inclusive identity.
Calling for continued public support, Banerjee emphasized the importance of unity in safeguarding the future of West Bengal and resisting forces that seek to disrupt its social fabric.
