“No Nuclear Weapons”: Donald Trump Sets Tough Conditions for Iran Ceasefire

By Editorial Team 👁 34
US President Donald Trump has issued a stern warning to Iran amid ongoing ceasefire negotiations, stating that any failure to reach a concrete agreement could lead to serious consequences. Emphasising a hardline stance, Trump made it clear that the United States will not accept any deal that allows Tehran to develop nuclear weapons. The remarks come as tensions remain high following recent peace talks, with Washington insisting that Iran must commit to a complete halt of its nuclear ambitions. Trump warned that if the ceasefire terms are not honoured or negotiations collapse, the response “won’t be pleasant,” signalling potential escalation. Despite acknowledging some progress in discussions, the US administration has reiterated that a long-term agreement hinges on Iran abandoning its nuclear programme entirely. The situation remains fluid, with global stakeholders closely monitoring developments in the Middle East.
