Partha Chatterjee slams central government on fuel price hike issues

Trinamool Congress MLA and State Education Minister Partha Chatterjee addressed a press conference on Friday at his residence in Naktalta. From the press conference, Chatterjee took a dig at Central government for huge increase of price of the gas and petrol, diesel.

Partha Chatterjee said,”The way Gas, Petrol and Diesel price is increasing, it’s getting very tough for normal people. Due to this huge increase of petrol, diesel, there will be impact on Transport and agriculture. BJP is increasing the price of gas which is leading problem for the general public. In protest of excessive price hike of petrol, diesel and Gas, we had decided to organise protest rally in the districts of West Bengal”.

Chatterjee added,”On Saturday a rally will be organised by South Kolkata district Trinamool Congress from Jadavpur Police station, it will go to Jadubabur Bazaar. On Sunday another rally will start from Behala 3A bus stand to 14no bus stand. Sudip Bandopadhyay will lead another rally from Shyambazar to Subodh Mallick Square on Sunday. Apart from that TMCP will show protest in front of all Petrol pumps in wake of price hike of Petrol, diesel and Gas. In leadership of Kakali Ghosh Dastidar, agitation will be shown by Bongo Janani group in front of all gas distribution shop”.
