Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Slovak President Peter Pellegrini visited a special painting exhibition at the Presidential Palace in Bratislava that celebrated the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of Varanasi, one of India's oldest living cities.

The exhibition, themed "Varanasi City," showcased a collection of artworks by Slovak artists depicting the spiritual essence, cultural traditions, vibrant ghats, and everyday life of the ancient Indian city. Several paintings were created by Slovak artists who had recently visited Varanasi and drew inspiration from its unique atmosphere, timeless traditions, and deep-rooted heritage.

During the visit, Prime Minister Modi and President Pellegrini walked through the exhibition and appreciated the artists' creative interpretation of Varanasi. The artworks highlighted the city's enduring cultural significance and reflected the strong people-to-people connections between India and Slovakia.

Both leaders praised the exhibition for promoting cultural understanding and noted that art continues to serve as a powerful bridge between nations. They emphasized the importance of cultural exchanges in strengthening bilateral ties and fostering mutual appreciation between the people of India and Slovakia.
