PM Modi Arrives in Bishkek for SCO Leadership Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, to participate in the 26th Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Leadership Summit.

Landed in Bishkek a short while ago.

Grateful to Mr. Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic for the warm welcome.

Will be meeting various leaders bilaterally and attending the SCO Summit tomorrow and the day after.

Prime Minister Modi was received at the airport by Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, marking the beginning of his engagement at the high-level summit.

The SCO Summit brings together 10 Member States, 15 Partner countries and two Observer countries to advance dialogue, cooperation and coordination on key regional and global issues.

The summit is expected to provide an important platform for participating countries to exchange views on regional security, economic cooperation, connectivity and other issues of shared interest.
