PM Modi Departs Uzbekistan for Kyrgyz Republic for SCO Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has departed Uzbekistan for the Kyrgyz Republic after concluding his visit to the Central Asian nation. He was seen off at the airport by Uzbekistan Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov.

During his visit to Uzbekistan, PM Modi reaffirmed the deep and enduring bonds between India and Uzbekistan, with discussions and engagements highlighting the growing cultural, economic and strategic partnership between the two countries.

PM Modi will now travel to the Kyrgyz Republic to attend the 26th Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Leadership Summit. His participation is expected to further strengthen India’s constructive engagement with the region and advance cooperation through the SCO framework.
