PM Modi, Merz Reaffirm India-Germany Strategic Partnership

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a warm and productive conversation with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, reaffirming the commitment of India and Germany to further strengthen their Strategic Partnership.

The conversation comes as India and Germany mark 75 years of diplomatic relations, providing an opportunity to deepen cooperation across several key sectors.

According to Prime Minister Modi, discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in trade and investment, defence, clean energy, advanced technologies and talent mobility, along with other areas of mutual interest.

PM Modi described Germany as an important pillar of India's engagement with Europe and highlighted its role as a valued partner in advancing global peace, stability and prosperity.
