PM Modi Hails Commissioning of Three Naval Vessels

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday welcomed the commissioning of three key naval vessels — INS Dunagiri, INS Sanshodhak and INS Agray — describing them as symbols of India's expanding maritime capabilities and growing defence self-reliance.

Sharing his views on social media, the Prime Minister said the induction of the three vessels reflects India's commitment to safeguarding national interests across the seas and strengthening maritime security.

He emphasized that the commissioning showcases the remarkable progress being made in indigenous defence manufacturing under the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat. The vessels represent the country's increasing ability to design, build and deploy advanced naval platforms using domestic expertise and technology.

The Prime Minister noted that India's naval modernization efforts continue to enhance operational readiness while supporting the nation's strategic interests in the Indian Ocean Region and beyond.

The commissioning of INS Dunagiri, INS Sanshodhak and INS Agray marks another significant milestone in India's journey toward becoming a stronger maritime power and a global hub for defence manufacturing.
