PM Narendra Modi Welcomes US-Iran Understanding, Calls for Peace and Stability in West Asia

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday welcomed the understanding reached between the United States and Iran aimed at ending the ongoing conflict in West Asia, expressing hope that the development would contribute to regional peace, economic stability, and uninterrupted global trade.

Sharing his views on social media, Prime Minister Modi noted that the conflict had caused significant economic disruptions worldwide and resulted in the loss of lives across several countries. He emphasized that India supports all efforts that promote dialogue, peace, and stability in the region.

"The implementation of this understanding will help restore peace and stability in the region and ensure the freedom of navigation and commerce," the Prime Minister stated.
Modi further expressed optimism that discussions on the remaining issues between the two nations would progress toward a sustainable and comprehensive final agreement.

India has consistently advocated diplomatic solutions to international conflicts and has underscored the importance of maintaining stability in West Asia, a region critical to global energy supplies, trade routes, and economic growth.

The Prime Minister's remarks come at a time when the international community is closely monitoring developments in the region, hoping that the understanding between Washington and Tehran will pave the way for long-term peace and cooperation.
