Priyanka Gandhi Blames PM Modi for Youth Unrest
Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of taking credit for the nation's achievements while refusing to accept responsibility for the challenges faced by India's youth.
Speaking to the media, Priyanka Gandhi said the Prime Minister claims credit for achievements such as India's Mars mission and other national successes, which she described as the accomplishments of the country's youth and people.
She alleged that the growing frustration among young people reflects a lack of opportunities and confidence in the future. Referring to ongoing demonstrations, she claimed that thousands of youths protesting are being subjected to police action and warned that the Prime Minister would be responsible if any harm comes to the protesters.
Her remarks come amid continued political exchanges between the ruling BJP and the Congress over issues affecting students and employment, with both sides trading accusations over the handling of youth-related concerns.
