Sundays on Cycle returned with its 88th edition at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, bringing together Union Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, Indian cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir, wrestler Sangram Singh, actress Madhurima Tuli and BRICS dignitaries.

The cycling initiative once again highlighted the importance of fitness, physical activity and healthy lifestyles. The event brought together personalities from sports, entertainment, public life and international delegations, creating a platform to encourage greater participation in fitness activities.

Dr Mansukh Mandaviya led the 88th edition of Sundays on Cycle, with participants taking part in the cycling-focused fitness programme at the JLN Stadium.

Gautam Gambhir Joins Fitness Initiative

One of the key attractions of the latest Sundays on Cycle edition was the participation of Gautam Gambhir.

The former India cricketer and current men's Indian cricket team head coach joined the programme alongside Dr Mansukh Mandaviya and other prominent participants. Gambhir's presence added a strong sporting dimension to the event and helped underline the connection between physical fitness and sporting excellence.

For athletes and sports professionals, maintaining physical fitness is an essential part of performance. Initiatives such as Sundays on Cycle also seek to encourage members of the wider public to incorporate regular physical activity into their daily and weekly routines.

Wrestler Sangram Singh and Actress Madhurima Tuli Participate

Wrestler Sangram Singh was also among the participants at the 88th edition of Sundays on Cycle.
Known for his association with wrestling and fitness, Sangram Singh's participation reinforced the event's focus on an active lifestyle. His presence alongside a senior government minister and sporting personalities highlighted the broader appeal of fitness initiatives.

Actress Madhurima Tuli also joined the event. The participation of personalities from the entertainment industry can help bring greater public attention to campaigns encouraging physical activity and healthy living.

BRICS Dignitaries Take Part

The 88th edition of Sundays on Cycle also featured the participation of BRICS dignitaries.

Their presence added an international dimension to the Delhi event and provided an opportunity to showcase India's growing emphasis on fitness, wellness and community participation.

The programme at JLN Stadium brought together participants from different backgrounds, demonstrating how initiatives centred around physical activity can connect people across professions and nationalities.

JLN Stadium Hosts the 88th Edition

The Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi served as the venue for the latest Sundays on Cycle programme.

The stadium provided a prominent setting for an event focused on cycling and fitness, with participants coming together for the 88th edition.

The initiative aims to make physical activity a more visible and accessible part of community life.

Cycling is widely regarded as an accessible form of physical activity that can be incorporated into recreational and fitness routines. Events that encourage people to cycle together can also create a sense of community and motivate participants to remain active.

Focus on Fitness and Healthy Lifestyles

The continued organisation of Sundays on Cycle reflects the broader emphasis on fitness and active living.

Regular physical activity can contribute to overall wellbeing, while cycling provides an opportunity for people to stay active in an enjoyable and community-oriented setting. Public participation in such programmes can also help build awareness about the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle.

The involvement of sports personalities, public figures and government representatives further increases the visibility of such initiatives.

A Platform Bringing Different Communities Together
