Sharing her thoughts on social media, Takaichi said the dinner hosted by Prime Minister Modi provided an opportunity for candid conversations in a relaxed setting beyond formal diplomatic talks. The two leaders discussed not only India-Japan relations and the evolving international situation but also exchanged views on the cultures, cuisines, and personal sentiments of their respective countries.

"I sincerely express my heartfelt gratitude for India's proud, rich culinary culture and Prime Minister Modi's warm hospitality," Takaichi wrote, highlighting the significance of the informal interaction.

The Japanese Prime Minister emphasized that the mutual trust developed during the visit would serve as a strong foundation for expanding cooperation across multiple sectors. She expressed confidence that India and Japan would elevate their strategic partnership to greater heights as the two countries prepare to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations next year.
Takaichi's remarks come after high-level bilateral discussions between the two leaders, during which India and Japan reaffirmed their commitment to deepen cooperation in areas including economic development, defence, technology, infrastructure, and regional security.
The visit underscored the shared vision of New Delhi and Tokyo to further strengthen their longstanding Special Strategic and Global Partnership amid evolving global challenges.
