Amit Shah Claims Surge in BJP Support in Keralam, Targets LDF Rule at Kozhikode Roadshow
Union Home Minister Amit Shah asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is witnessing growing support in Keralam, citing the enthusiastic turnout at a major roadshow in Kozhikode. Amit Shah Claims Surge in BJP Support in Kerala, Targets LDF Rule at Kozhikode Roadshow Addressing supporters, Shah said the strong public response signals a clear desire among the people to move away from the Left Democratic Front (LDF) government. He emphasized that Keralam is aspiring for transformation and development, referring to the vision of building a “Viksit Keralam.” The Home Minister’s remarks come as the BJP continues to expand its political footprint in the state, traditionally dominated by the LDF and the United Democratic Front (UDF). Shah highlighted that the momentum seen on the ground reflects a shift in public sentiment, with voters increasingly looking for alternative leadership. The Kozhikode roadshow is being seen as part of the BJP’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in southern India, with Keralam emerging as a key focus area ahead of upcoming electoral battles.
