Amit Shah Inaugurates NUCFDC Office in Mumbai

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the new office complex of the National Urban Cooperative Finance and Development Corporation (NUCFDC) in Mumbai’s Fort area.

मोदी सरकार ने अर्बन कोऑपरेटिव बैंकों का अम्ब्रेला ऑर्गेनाइजेशन NUCFDC बनाकर इस पूरे क्षेत्र को नई गति देने का काम किया है। आज मुंबई में NUCFDC के नवीन कार्यालय परिसर का उद्घाटन किया।

During the event, Shah urged all cooperative banks across the country to join the NUCFDC, describing it as an important umbrella organisation for strengthening and modernising the urban cooperative banking sector.

Shah expressed confidence that NUCFDC would play a significant role in transforming urban banking by making services more modern, transparent and trustworthy.
He also highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation among urban cooperative banks and creating a more robust institutional framework to support the sector’s growth.

The NUCFDC is expected to serve as a common platform for cooperative banks, helping improve their operational capabilities and supporting the broader development of India’s cooperative banking ecosystem.
