Sonam Wangchuk Ends Fast, Appeals for Peace

Activist Sonam Wangchuk has ended his 26-day fast following discussions with Union Ministers JP Nadda and Dr. Jitendra Singh, along with senior leaders of the Apex Body of Leh, Ladakh. In a social media post, he said the decision came after extensive negotiations and appeals from 65 Members of Parliament. Wangchuk also urged citizens to remain vigilant and ensure peace, adding that he will soon release a detailed video explaining the conditions behind ending his fast.
