Kejriwal urged the Centre to ensure that fuel stations offer consumers the option to choose between pure petrol and E20 petrol, arguing that motorists should have the freedom to decide which fuel suits their vehicles.
He also called for a reduction in the price of E20 petrol, claiming that ethanol-blended fuel delivers lower mileage than conventional petrol and should therefore be priced more competitively.
The AAP chief said his party has launched an online petition inviting citizens to share their experiences with E20 petrol, particularly regarding mileage and vehicle performance.
He appealed to people to sign the petition and submit their feedback, which he plans to present to the Prime Minister during the proposed meeting.
Expressing hope that PM Modi would grant him an appointment soon, Kejriwal also urged AAP workers and supporters to visit petrol pumps and service centres, interact with consumers, and share their experiences through videos on social media to raise awareness about the issue.
