Namo for Viksit Bharat Event in Vadodara Draws Huge Response

Namo for Viksit Bharat is being organised in Vadodara to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the city, according to Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi. The event has received an overwhelming response, with tickets reportedly selling out within an hour of online bookings opening.

PM Modi is visiting Vadodara with development projects worth Rs 35,000 crore, which Sanghavi described as a major gift to the nation. To mark the Prime Minister’s arrival, citizens of Vadodara have jointly organised the special Namo for Viksit Bharat programme.

The event has generated significant public interest, with organisers receiving a large number of requests after the initial tickets were sold out.

PM Modi’s Vadodara Visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Vadodara as part of a programme featuring development projects worth Rs 35,000 crore.

According to Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, the projects being associated with the visit represent a major development push and an important occasion for the people of Vadodara.

The Namo for Viksit Bharat event has been planned to coincide with the Prime Minister’s arrival and provide citizens with an opportunity to participate in the special programme.

Namo for Viksit Bharat Gets Overwhelming Response

Harsh Sanghavi said the event was conceptualised with a unique approach. During the planning stage, organisers decided to use an online ticket-booking platform so that people would have an opportunity to register and attend.

The response was reportedly immediate.
According to Sanghavi, tickets were sold out within just one hour after bookings opened. The event subsequently reached full capacity, while organisers continued to receive requests from people who wanted to participate.

Additional Tickets Issued

Following the initial rush for tickets, organisers attempted to increase the capacity wherever possible.

Additional tickets were issued in response to the demand, but a large number of people remained on the waiting list.

Sanghavi said that more than 42,000 people were still on the waiting list as of late the previous night, highlighting the scale of public interest in the programme.

Fan Zones and Holding Areas Set Up

With thousands of people still waiting for an opportunity to attend, the organising team worked through the night to make additional arrangements.

According to Sanghavi, fan zones and holding areas were established outside the main dome to accommodate people who could not be accommodated inside the principal venue.

The arrangements were intended to provide additional space for those waiting outside the main dome and allow more people to be part of the atmosphere surrounding the event.
