Ronald Koeman's side made the perfect start, taking the lead after just three minutes when Tunisia captain Ellyes Skhiri inadvertently turned Denzel Dumfries' cross into his own net while trying to deny Brian Brobbey.

The Dutch doubled their advantage moments later as Brobbey scored his third goal of the tournament, finishing from close range after Virgil van Dijk headed a free-kick back across goal.

Tunisia had an early opportunity through Ismael Gharbi but failed to convert, and they struggled to cope with the Netherlands' dominance for much of the match. After the break, the Dutch continued to threaten despite heavy rain, with Dumfries going close before Skhiri made another crucial block.

The Eagles of Carthage briefly reignited the contest when Hazem Mastouri headed home Hannibal Mejbri's corner, reducing the deficit to 2-1. However, the Netherlands restored their two-goal cushion almost immediately as Jan Paul van Hecke powered home Tijjani Reijnders' delivery.

With the victory, the Netherlands finished atop Group F and will now face Morocco in the Round of 32, while Tunisia exited the tournament without advancing.

Player of the Match: Brian Brobbey (Netherlands)
