Piyush Goyal Invites Greek Investment in India
Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal highlighted India's strong economic growth and expanding global investment opportunities while addressing the India-Greece Business Forum alongside Greece's Deputy Foreign Minister Harry Theoharis.

Sharing details of the event on social media, Goyal said he also interacted with members of the Indian diaspora who attended the forum and discussed ways to further strengthen economic ties between India and Greece.

During his address, the Union Minister showcased India's remarkable growth story, robust macroeconomic fundamentals, and consistent economic progress, describing the country as one of the world's most attractive destinations for global investors.

Goyal also underscored the significant potential of the proposed India-European Union Free Trade Agreement (India-EU FTA), stating that the agreement would unlock fresh opportunities for trade, investment, and deeper economic cooperation between India,

Highlighting the vast scope for collaboration across multiple sectors, the Minister urged Greek businesses and investors to partner with India through co-creation, co-investment, and co-manufacturing initiatives. He said such collaborations would pave the way for increased investments, stronger business partnerships, and shared prosperity for both nations.
The India-Greece Business Forum served as an important platform to enhance bilateral commercial engagement and reinforce the growing strategic and economic partnership between India and Greece, while encouraging greater participation from businesses on both sides.
