PM Modi to Visit Uzbekistan, Kyrgyz Republic for SCO Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic over the next few days, with a series of bilateral and multilateral engagements focused on strengthening diplomatic ties and regional cooperation.

Over the next few days, will be in Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic.

The programmes include:

During his visit to Tashkent, PM Modi will hold bilateral talks with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev aimed at further strengthening the India-Uzbekistan friendship and expanding cooperation between the two countries.

As part of his Uzbekistan programme, the Prime Minister will also visit the Lal Bahadur Shastri Memorial and the Mahatma Gandhi Centre at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.

Modi will then travel to Bishkek, where he is scheduled to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit. His engagements will include both multilateral and bilateral meetings with participating leaders.

The visit comes as India continues to deepen its engagement with Central Asian countries and the SCO, with discussions expected to cover areas of mutual interest and regional cooperation.
