Prashant Kishor Says Bihar Crime Cannot Be Controlled Under Samrat Choudhary, Makes Big Jobs Pledge

Jan Suraaj MLA Prashant Kishor has launched a sharp attack on Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, questioning the state government's ability to build a crime-free society.

Kishor said that any discussion about eliminating crime in Bihar would be meaningless as long as people like Samrat Choudhary remain at the helm of the state. He alleged that when the person at the top of the power structure has a “criminal mindset”, controlling crime becomes difficult.

His remarks come amid the ongoing political debate over law and order and governance in Bihar.

Kishor also made a major employment pledge for his Bankipur constituency. He said that at least one person from each of 10,000 families in the constituency would get a private-sector job based on their qualifications.

He said the target would be achieved within his current three-year tenure and challenged the opposition to raise questions about the promise.

Kishor further said that if the commitment is not fulfilled, he would not return to the people to seek votes.

The statement puts employment generation at the centre of Jan Suraaj's political pitch in Bankipur, while Kishor's criticism of the state government focuses on crime and law-and-order concerns.
